Wooden Vespa toy for children

posted by Alison in: Gadgets Vespa

baby Vespa This wooden tricycle-style Vespa toy is cute, but not of Italian production. Instead, the Moulin Roty, found on Baroque Babies blog, comes from France and is a Vespa toy for children.

The wooden Vespa also comes with a story of two little rabbits, Mila and Malo, who are on their way to the seaside for Sunday picnic. It costs 97 euros and while it doesn’t have the excitement that we know from Vespa, getting the children started early is no bad thing. Good things come to those who wait and I only wish I was a kid again…

SBK 09, il videogame

Here are the first pics of the SBK Superbike World Championship video game, developed by Milestone. Distributed by Black Bean Games, the 2009 version is characterised by two new teams: Aprilia and BMW. There is also the return of the South African Kyalami round, and more.

The box has been completely redesigned, the bike performance is strictly in line with data provided by the companies, and there are five single player modes: fast race, training, racing weekend, championship and challenge.

For gamers who prefer online gaming, there are another three modes, as the SBK 09 video game seeks to satisfy different gaming styles. The game suits beginners, racing fanatics and hard core gamers who love sports simulation.

Harley Davidson Fat Boy small-scale model

posted by Alison in: Gadgets Harley-Davidson

harley davidson

If you’re a lover of model motorcycles, and you’re serious about Harley Davidson, you’d probably manage to complete this enterprise, though we feel we’d lose patience. This Fat Boy FLSTF is available as a 1:4 scale model, complete with real leather seat, horn and working lights. And when you turn the key, you can hear the original engine.

The only problem is that this model can be collected over 77 instalments, meaning it becomes a long and costly exercise. The first instalment, for example, costs only five euros, while the second costs 11. But if any Harley fan and model motorcycle collector manage to complete the model, let us know!

Video: FMX rider tests ToyDirtBikes

posted by koen in: Offroad Gadgets Video

Chaos FMX rider William Van den Putte is testing the ToyDirtBikes for Belgian television in this you tube video. Can William, a freestyle motorcross rider, play this toy like he’sriding his real bike?

Freestyle or FMX is a strong, growing sport. It comes originally from motorcross when the riders started to show some stunts and tricks after the finish, like the “No foot One Hander”, the “No hander Lander” and some other dangerous jumps. It’s based on high jumps with the bike and making figures in the air. Some good advice? Try it with the toy, not for real!
