This is a great video from the guys at MCN (and we’re a little jealous), of a group bike test that they complete on a European motorcycle road trip. They examine the Harley Davidson XR1200, putting it up against a Ducati GT1000 and Moto Guzzi’s 8v 1200 Griso. Their conclusion? The XR1200 is not a benchmark sports bike.
The second video below is all in Italian, but gives you a close-up look at the Harley XR1200. From Tor Sagen, at Raptors and Rockets, and shown on MotoTV, the racing version comes off well, with the conclusion that fun is guaranteed.
Yamaha Motor Europe is also promoting its new 2009 models with a video. This video shows the new Yamaha XJ6 Diversion ABS 2009 model.
If you have a question or if you want to know more about Boss Hoss, just have a look at this movie. Rad Hunsley explains every detail about the eight cylinder bike.

Harley Davidson has recently announced the production start of the much anticipated XR1200 model, to be manufactured at the plant in Kansas City Missouri. All the vehicles produced in the opening phase are destined for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The prototype of the XR1200 was presented to the public for the first time in occasion of the international show Intermost, held in the city of Cologne in October 2006. On the basis of the positive response work got underway to develop and transform the concept into a streetbike of great manoeuvrability and performance, conceived to satisfy the aspirations of European riders.
Today more than 600 European customers have booked a Harley Davidson XR1200. The company also announced the pleasure of reviewing the price offered to the public, which is now at 11,500 euros, slightly less than that announced at the beginning of the year. This reduction underlines the company’s ambition to develop its European clientele, competitively positioning the bike in the roadster category.
