Following another series of earthquakes that have hit Italy this morning - after the May 20th one - Ducati has decided to temporarily close down their factory in Bologna for safety reasons.
The company announced it via Twitter, “Ducati today is closed due to the earthquake. People are ok, we are verifing the factory.”
This new quake with the same 5.9 magnitude as the previous one, (Medolla is the epicenter) with aftershocks of 5.2 and 4.9, was felt all across the Northern part of Italy, and adding another ten lives to the rising death toll and where it is presumed that 75% of the houses in the small town Cavezzo have been damaged and telecomunications (land lines and cell phones) in the city of Modena are down and the hospital evacuated.
The death toll is now at fifteen, with seven people still missing and 200 injured and another 8,000 people have been forced to evacuate their damaged homes.
