Ducati Streetfighter 2009

You might dream of superbikes, and live and breathe superbikes, but what happens when you want a bike that will give you that kind of thrill and performance, when you’re not on the track? How do you match road comfort with a sports superbike ride?

According to Popular Mechanics, the Ducati Streetfighter is the answer. We’ve already seen the Streetfighter gallery, and the official video, along with other tests from Moto Revue and Tor Sagen.

Basem Wasef from Popular Mechanics says:

Ducati superbikes are focused, hardcore machines with the capability for breakneck, knee-dragging, on-track shenanigans. But their stretched out ergonomics can wear thin during street rides out in the real world. If you’re not an aspiring MotoGP star, but still want a motorcycle with serious bite, Ducati’s new Streetfighter aims to scratch that itch for power without leaving you with sore wrists and a hefty chiropractic bill.

So it looks like you can take the shenanigans off-track as well. Read the Streetfighter review for the low-down.
