Hiroshi Aoyama suffered a small bone fracture to his left wrist a couple of weeks ago in a motocross training accident in Spain, and while the Japanese rider was expected to make an almost full recovery, however the recovery process is taking slightly longer than expected, which could hinder his riding during the first official pre-season MotoGP test in Sepang.
Yesterday, the 31-year old Aoyama underwent a medical check-up at th USP Dexeus University Institute in Barcelona, where Dr. Xavier Mir confirmed that the swelling had gone down and that he could move the wrist but was advised to keep it immobilized for another week to speed up the healing process.
