Luca Cadalora, 1986 125cc World Champion and two times 250cc World Champion in 1991 and 1992 will carry out the shakedown test of FB Corse’s new three cylinder bike and it appears that the test will be carried out at the Vallelunga circuit.
Andrea Ferrari (the F in FB Corse) admitted: “Next week John Hopkins is coming to Italy to clear up the the last details, then Luca will debut the bike, the first test will be done by him.”
“Franco Antoniazzi – the project designer together with Forghieri – is in ‘love’ with Luca,” added Ferrari. “I mean how can’t he be? Cadalora together with Eddie Lawson was one of the best development riders between the 80’s and the 90’s.”
Cadalora who will soon turn 47 and retired from racing in 2000, talking to Gpone said: I’ve followed the development of this bike almost since its begining but we haven’t chosen a date for its debut. What am I doing now? I’m restoring an old Mitsubishi Group A.”

10 Dec 2010 - 01:07 - #1Hi Luca,
Glad to see you are still razor sharp. Are you keeping fit. Well if you are I have a cycling proposition. I want to put a team of ex GP stars together (6) to take on www.hauteroute.com I’m working with the organisers of the event who also do Le Etape to generate media attention and Eurosport coverage in 2011. You are my first call yes true ( I met you back in ‘85 at Silverston with Hilary Musson and her daughter Gail who I went to school with). My dream team would be you, Christian Sarron, Pierre Francesco Chilli, Randy, Ron Haslam (possibly too busy with Leon), Niall MacKenzie, Didier DeRadigues, Donny McLeod, steady Eddy Lawson…I was hoping you could put a word in and what about Wayne Gardner who used to live in my home town of Louth, when he first came over to the UK. Toby Moody and Julian Ryder will be behind this and it kind of follows a really popular documentary seen on ITV UK recently about Barry Shene and F1 James Hunt. This is a serious proposition. The event will take place 20-28th Sept 2011 cycling from Geneva to Nice. Contact me on +44 7725 164 302.
Ciao
