Garry McCoy will be the man called on to debut on track our MotoGP bike, which has now been formally re-named as FB01.

In record time and thanks to the incredible willingness between the parties (after checking the reciprocal goals that match perfectly) the 37 year old, who’s been a rider in all the major championships (Supersport, Superbike, 125cc, 500cc and MotoGP) had decide to compete in 2010 with FB Corse. The contract forsees a full participation the the MotoGP World Championship riding the Italian three cylinder 800cc.

Garry McCoy:

“It’s a great pleasure to have the opportunity to return to MotoGP. I didn’t know almost anything about the team, but what I saw seems really good. The whole bike will have to be developed, it’ll be hard work, but I find it exciting. In the factory I found out what technical resources we’ll have available; the engine and the chassis are based on top level projects and models. Now we have to work on developing them.”

Andrea Ferrari - Team Owner:

“I am so happy and so surprised with what we managed to do due in so few hours. From the disappointment of negotiations that ended so abruptly, we’ve gone in a very short time to a sincere, loyal and mutual agreement based on trust and transparency. I’d like to thank all the those people who supported us in these last few difficult days. Garry is surely the best rider we could imagine having with us now. “
