Jorge Lorenzo in his post race celebration at the Jerez GP bomb dived into the nearby pond, but had some difficulty swimming fully clad in leathers and helmet and admitted that: “I almost drowned! I was so tired. I knew that it would be hard to swim with my leathers on but it took me three minutes to swim about three or four metres!”

So what does Spanish RTVE decide to organize? Naturally a friendly little swim race with Spain’s Rafael Munoz, the 50mt butterfly 2009 record holder against the MotoGP rider, but they handicapped Munoz decking him out in Dainese leathers and Lorenzo’s helmet.

Want to guess who won? After the jump you can see Lorenzo celebrating at Jerez video.
