Italian Superbike commentators Luigi Vignando and Mauro Sanchini (one of Valentino Rossi’s motocross buddies) have revealed during the WSBK pre-race show, that Valentino Rossi will be in Brno tomorrow to carry out another fitness test following the one carried out at Misano on last Thursday.

Davide Brivio had said: “It is difficult to be able to do another test (before Sachsenring) because there isn’t another available bike. The one he used here will be in Brno this weekend. If he works in the gym and the preparations go well, he will probably be present at Sachsenring and we will try the M1 directly there.”

Apparently Rossi wants a further private test (away from the Italian media) before making his final decision if to race at the Sachsenring round next weekend.

UPDATE:

Rossi will be at Brno between 2 and 5 o’clock and will once again ride James Toseland’s R1 and instead of Bridgestone tires he’ll be using Pirelli’s new evo tires. A press conference is scheduled right after the test.
