2011 Yamaha Stryker

Yamaha cruiser motorcycle subsidiary, Star Motorcycles has debuted the 2011 Stryker. This new chopper wants to enter into direct competition with Honda’s Fury.

Much more muscular and aggressive looking than the Fury, the Stryker mounts a 1304cc V-Twin engine, based on the Yamaha V-Star XVS1300A and delivers 107Nm of torque. The custom chopper has raked out front forks with a 21-inch front wheel, 210 rear wheel, belt drive, a super low 26.4-inch seat, steel mudguards and a double exhaust

The Stryker at the moment will be available only in the U.S. and comes in three colors: Reddish Copper, Impact Blue and Raven and prices range from $10,990 and $11,240.

After the jump more pics and launch video.

I own a 2011 STRYKER now i think its one if not the best looking bike ive owned and rode. I think it out performs the harley not to take away from harley. You don’t need a tool box with you on the stryker but you have to hire a pit crew just to ride a harley.

The best combination style, power and performance. The fuel injection, a 1304cc V-Twin, and a beautiful final belt drive, makes the 2011 Yamaha Stryker a very satisfying performance bike.It provides light comfortable handling and easy steering .And off course the color whichever it may be black, blue or red looks amazing on it..

I just bought a stryker and sold my 1600 meanstreak.well worth the money. It rides great and just as bad ass as my meanstreak. Never will I buy another kawasaki, was really let down by the meanstreak, nothing but trouble since day one. Only had 600 miles on it and it was an 08. Have had my stryker two weeks and have almost 300 miles on it. Rides out 100% and not even broke in yet.

Question: I am a new rider…taking the riding class for licensing on a 250 Suzuki..
5′6″, very athletic, over 50… Is this bike over my head or manageable so I can
    grow into it?

rode it, loved it, great power and handling. Larry-I think you will grow into it-I am a short nonathletic woman. I had to tip toe it a little to push it, but I am sure this will be my next bike. I am on a 950 now.

I just bought the red one last week. Love it. I am a new rider, just got a license last summer and had been riding a 750 virago, made the jump to this one and have no regrets. Handles great and I’m only 5′4″.

Still LOVE it! I waited a couple weeks, rode it a 2nd time, just to make sure. Its a really nice ride! The dealer had added a set of Rush pipes to it, and for those of you that like it loud - you will love that too.. I had Cobra HP’s on my other bike- loud all the time..The Rush were harder sounding- but while riding, the sound seemed to travel more away from the bike, so less stress on your own ears..I would be adding the windshield, and the sissybar/luggage rack- I like to go on trips and pack stuff. I do not think I will have saddelbags this time, it does not appeal to the looks of the bike.
