This afternoon’s MotoGP second free practice at Aragon was wet with rain disrupting the session, however it was Ducati’s Casey Stoner who came out on top with a best time of 2′01″710 leaving the second spot to Jorge Lorenzo who was more than half a second slower.
Third went to Nicky Hayden who was fast in both dry and wet sessions and he was followed by Valentino Rossi in fourth, but still more than 1.1 seconds slower. Marco Melandri a master rider in the wet, took fifth with his privateer Honda ahead of Andrea Dovizioso and Randy de Puniet and Ben Spies with Marco Simoncelli in tenth.
Dani Pedrosa who dominated in the morning practice went backwards and finished in a lowly 13th and a massive 3″6 slower than Stoner.
