Video: Valentino Rossi wiping out Casey Stoner at Jerez

A little more than an hour after the end of the wildest race we’ve seen in sometime, we’ve already got the first videos already appearing on YouTube of Valentino Rossi wiping out Casey Stoner at Jerez.

The footage is lousy, but you can still see Rossi going in too hot and losing the front end and his Ducati slipping out of his control wiping out Casey Stoner, with both riders sliding into the gravel pit.

The Australian was absolutely fuming around the ears, as the marshals concentrated on dragging Rossi out from Stoner’s Honda which landed squarely on top of the Italian and his Ducati, while he was literally left unaided.

Livio Suppo who was watching the race commented and complained on TV saying that the Spanish marshals, played favourites prefering to help the charismatic Rossi over Stoner. While Stoner later said that Rossi has more ambition than talent, which will spark numerous comments on a brainless racing incident in tough conditions.

Very sloppy pass by rossi, stoner did well not to give him a smack in the mouth as a reward. I would have believed rossi’s apology was genuine if he bothered to take his helmet off before going into stoner’s pit. In the end it looked like just another mind game stunt.
I would have to agree with stoner’s comment regarding ambition outweighting talent in this instance. Rossi had the pace and would have had another safer opportunity to make a pass.
Although I think Stoner would have been wiser to have just shook rossi’s hand and kept his mouth shut as he has just painted a target on his back for all the dumbass rossi supporters to be hating on, a distraction I think stoner could well do without in the championship.

Vale never gave up!!
But Casey was luck opportunity for restart with helping.
Ｍashal can’t help two machines in the same time.
Vale was lucky,But Casey should have been priority.

eliott didn’t see the race. Rossi should have been penalized for that reckless move. How does winning multiple world championships excuse you from remembering how to ride. Fanboys will always live in the past. VR will obviously never win another championship while riding a Ducati. He is better off respecting riders who are now faster than him, and there are more than a few. Go out like a true GOAT, with dignity and stop interfering with the championship.

Yep that stoner WUSS done it again, moaning, complaining, what a dirt bag, look at the real racing greats like Gardner, Doohen, Rossi, they all had misshaps in racing that wasn’t their fault, guess what, like real men they took it on the chin and said ‘thats racing!’. thats why thay are still respected as champions. stoner should give the game away if he can’t hack the pace, go and take up knitting, he’d do well at that sitting round whining with all the other old women.
