The World Superbike provisional calendar has surfaced without FIM official confirmation, so it can be still subject to some changes, but one thing we noticed is the series is finally becoming a little more world and a little less Eurocentric with the addition of Sepang, Malaysia to the two other fly away races in Australia and the U.S.

The hyped-up Russian round is confirmed for August, so one of the circuits vying for the race will receive homologation, while Donington gets bumped up to May instead of March and the season finale is still Portimao.

2012 Provisional WSBK calendar:

February 25 Phillip Island, Australia
March 11 Sepang, Malaysia
April 15 Assen, Netherlands
May 6 Monza, Italy
May 20 Donington Park, Great Britain
May 28 Miller Motorsport Park, USA
June 10 Misano, San Marino
June 17 Motorland Aragon, Spain
July 15 Brno, Czech Republic
July 29 Silverstone, Great Britain
August 26 Mosca, Russia
September 9 Nurburgring, Germany
September 30 Imola, Italy
October 7 Magny-Cours, France
October 21 Portimao, Portugal
