It seems only yesterday that Yamaha presented its first maxi-scooter which signalled a shift in the European scooter market. And yet eight years have passed, with the debut having occurred back in July 2000.

This is much more than a simple scooter - comfortable and spacious, it also has the driving pleasure and manageability of a smaller scooter. This has made the Yamaha T-Max a market success, placing it in the top ten of bikes sold with 23,000 units in the first eight months of 2008. A good 15,000 of these were sold in Italy alone.

With plans for high demand in 2009, the legendary yellow colour “extreme yellow” is available. This is an almost hysterical livery, but if you want something more toned down there is also Midnight Black, Silver High Tech and Stealth Metal. Pricing for 2009 is already available, including the ABS option.
