After the news about Jakub Smrz resigning for another year with the Italian Guandalini Superbike Team, the media have discovered more about the second Superbike rider who will join the team next year: the idea is to create a new formation between the Italian Guandalini Team and the American Boulder Sport team. The new rider could be the American Honda rider Jake Zemke. Jake has been riding for some years in the American AMA Superbike Championship.

If this works out, the new formation will make the team very strong and will boost the new “Guandalini Boulder Team” to a top team in World Superbike. Especially if we are looking at the results from Jakub this year and the experiences and results from the American. Ducati has high expectations, as the American motorcycle market is one of the most important markets for the Italian manufacturer. Let’s wait a few weeks more and Twowheelsblog will bring you all the news, when this becomes official!
