Nuove VN1700 Kawasaki 2009

2009 will see a new Kawasaki series emerge, as the company announces the entrance of the new VN1700 on the market. It inherits the VN1600 tradition, with a new powerful 1700cc engine, with some impressive agility and attention to detail.

The engine is similar to the VN2000, but with SOHC (single overhead cam) rather than the OHV push-rod system. Compared to the VN1600 model, this gives it some added torque and power. The bike also includes the first ever appearance of a electronic throttle valve on a Kawasaki, along with new six-speed overdrive transmission and carbon fibre final drive belt.

The new chassis is lighter and more compact than previous models. The bike’s manoeuvrability and agility is improved with updated suspension. Attention has been given to the look and comfort of the bike, with adjusted handle-bar positions.

The VN1700 series comprises four models: two tourers (the VN1700A/B and the VN1700C) and two cruisers (the VN1700 E and VN1700G). This gives Kawasaki cruiser fans a range of options to choose from, and should suit all needs.

If you’re looking for comfort and technology in the cruiser style, then a Kawasaki 2009 could be made for you. For more information on the VN1700 classic, and other models, go to the Kawasaki site.
