Cal Crutchlow and Fabian Foret will ride in the Yamaha World Supersport Team next year. Cal is the newcomer in the Yamaha supersport team and currently races in the British Superbike Championship. Today Cal is in fourth position in the standings, chasing third place holder Tom Sykes. Tom will also ride in the Yamaha Team next year, but in World Superbike.

Cal Crutchlow said: “I’m really looking forward to the experience. To go into what is in my eyes the top team in the World Supersport paddock and have the opportunity to challenge for a world title with Yamaha is very exciting. I’m really looking forward to next season, I can’t wait!”

Cal started his career in the Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup with Yamaha, taking second place in 2003. Subsequently in British Supersport he was placed 10th in 2004 and 3rd in 2005. He won the Championship in 2006.
