Gas Gas Halley SM 125

After more than 20 years (1985) since the debut of the first Halley 327, taken to the world trial championships by Gabino Renales, Gas Gas evokes the legendary model, transforming the Halley into a supermotard destined for a younger public: and so the Halley SM 125 is born.

It’s a prototype for about 15 hp, equipped with a 124 cc one-cylinder two stroke engine, liquid cooled, six speed shift and uses a 27mm carburettor.

The Halley SM 125 has a 9.5 litre tank and weighs 100kg. It will be the first model of the range and should be available commercially from May, with a new 450 SM and a 124 four-stroke version completing the package.

The new Halley will be exhibited at the MotOh! BCN 2008 alongside the new 2009 off road range.
