The revamped Suzuki GSX-R 1ooo for the year 2012 is currently on display at the 2011 EICMA. We already introduced the model a while ago in a previous post, but we can quickly underline again the main differences between the new Gixer and its current incarnation: new livery and color schemes, single muffler, Brembo monobloc radial calipers, MotoGP-derived pistons (11% lighter), improved throttle response, better responsiveness at mid revs, -8% of average fuel consumption, 2kg lighter, adjustable BPF front fork and a new instrument panel.
As always, the big Gixer is a stunner and one of the main attractions at the Milan event. Check it out in our photo gallery, once again courtesy of our mates from Motoblog.it, and click on the ‘Continue reading’ link right below the thumbnails to see its technical specs.
