Here we give you more shots and details of the Suzuki Gladius 650, Suzuki’s new effort in the naked sector.

This is a new project on the previous SV650 version, with a softer and well-proportioned design. The Gladius is available in new twin colours: Metallic Triton Blue / Glass Splash White, Candy Ruby Magenta / Pearl Mirage White and Pearl Nebular Black / Metallic Lush Green.

The chassis is a steel tubular trellis frame with alluminium foot pedals. The steel exhaust is placed under the engine, the traditional front fork is 41mm and there is one rear single shock absorber. The twin disc 290 mm front brakes combine with a single rear disc at 240mm, optional ABS. The tank capacity is 14.5 litres, and dry weight is 202 kg.

The strong point is without a doubt the engine - a twin cylinder 90° V at 645cc, with electronic ignition, four cylinder valves and Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system, guaranteeing reduced fuel consumption and a smooth ride.
