MZ Racing team has decided cut back their Moto2 effort to just one rider and Martin Zimmer’s choice for the upcoming season seems to have fallen on World Supersport rider Alexander Lundh.

Lundh, is Sweden’s 2009 Superbike runner-up and he spent the last two seasons in WSS riding a Honda CBR 600RR for Cresto Guide Racing team finishing 16th overall in both years..

The Swedish rider has already tested the FTR Moto2 bike last November during the Valencia GP tests and also took part in the penultimate CEV Moto2 race at the Ricardo Tormo circuit and finishing 25th.

MZ Racing will be also be fielding German riders Jonas Folger and Toni Finsterbusch in the inaugural Moto3 championship.
