Ducati's testing of the GP12 at Jerez is still completely under wraps with very little leaking out, security is so tight that is resembles more a G8 summit than motorcycle test and there aren't even the usual 'spy' shots.

We only have the words Ducati's CEO Gabriele Del Torchio, who said during a press conference last night in Italy that things are proceeding, “Checa and Battaini are working on development. The information we have is comforting, but it is early to make predictions. ”

What we do know is that track temperatures at Jerez were low, between 10°C- 15°C and that test team was having trouble getting the Bridgestone tires up to temperature and that doesn’t bode well for testing a new and revolutionized bike, so it will probably be up to Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden to use their time well during the upcoming Sepang test.

Today is the final day of testing for Ducati.
