Nuova special Yamaha con motore V4 a due tempi di 500cc

This is every rider’s dream: the Yamaha R6 with two stroke engine. Obviously we’re talking about a special, but it’s so perfect that Iwata could produce it in series.

These photos come from the Australian Ride On Two forum, where the lucky owner can be seen in just one shot.

While the specs of this machine haven’t been published, we can imagine what it means to turn this R6 on: a two stroke, four cylinder engine, with chassis and suspensions inherited from the R6 and a alluminium tank. A bike like this has just one destination: the track.

I suppose you all remember the Yamaha TZ750 ? That was a four cylinder 2 stroke demon, which got itself banned from all the races, due to no competition !

    A 750/4 Yamaha ! So what’s new ???

This R6 with 2 stroke engine is very nice, but what we all need is a reasonably priced square 4 rotary valve 2 stroke engine which can be fitted to a late model 600 roller of your choice. It should have a donor gearbox and clutch and a choice of top ends. Go to www.speadsracing.co.za and that’s what you will find, at last !
