Over 60,000 Spanish bikers hit the streets in Madrid on Saturday to protest against dangerous guard rails that line many roads of the country. The upright metal supports on the barriers can act as guillotines to bikers who slide under them, and cause many fatalities and injuries.
The bikers held a minute of silence for the more than 500 bikers who have died on Spanish roads this year.
The protesters also want to see more safety measures, such as anti-skid tarmac, better road surfaces and fewer taxes.
