Women's California Superbike School

By Alison

The California Superbike School is holding its first ever women’s session in the UK at Silverstone on September 11. We don’t normally do the feminist thing on Two Wheels, but for you lady bikers in the UK, this could be a good opportunity to get some great tips.

The session is exclusively for women and comes after a successful women’s only day for the CSS in South Africa. The day is dedicated to Level One coaching and can be attended with or without your own bike. For more information, prices and info on bike hire, see the California Superbike School website.

California Superbike school two-day camp in Jerez and calendar dates

By Alison

California superbike school

The California Superbike School still has some dates free in its 2009 calendar in the UK and across Europe for its one and two day courses. While early July in the UK is all booked up, there are still places available at Silverstone South on July 21, and for courses in the Czech Republic, as for info.

If you want to try something special, a two day camp is taking place at Jerez in Spain from September 21, and places are still available. For more details on the California Superbike school schedule in Europe, see the program.

The school also conducts forums and ride days at Phillip Island and Eastern Creek in Australia. For more information on the Australian calendar, see the Aussie website. If you want to learn how to corner like a pro, this is the place to go.

Peter Lenz video: when a boy rides like a man

By Alison

The images in this video come from new talent Peter Lenz: an American boy of only 10 years old who already rides like an adult.

Filmed at the California Superbike School in April of this year, Peter is in the seat of his Honda RSF 150R, a GP 125 with a 150cc engine. He’s already showing he’s got what it takes to be successful in the future.
