Honda Italia has released its new Honda scooter price list, in effect as from February 27, including the different SH125i/150i models with rear disc brake, seen at last year’s Eicma show. The Honda SH125i/150i range has 12 different versions with rear drum or disc brake. The scooter has also proved itself the most sold scooter in Italy.

The most popular version is that equipped with windshield and rear boot storage. These parts, when ordered with the purchase of a scooter, only cost 100 euros each, whereas when buying parts separately, costs can be up to 169 euros. See after the jump for full pricing of the Honda SH125i and 150i.

Test Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade C-ABS 2009 in Qatar

Lorenzo Baroni from “Special” magazine has sent us some details from Qatar on the new CBR600RR and CBR1000RR 2009 versions from Honda, with the biggest news being the ABS integrated braking system developed for the top sports range bikes.

The Honda debuts ABS on the first series sports bike with some impressive results, such as rapid deceleration. The strong point in this system is the braking capacity in limited conditions such as wet or dirty roads, and breaking when leaning.

The classic problems of steering and rear blocking are avoided, without limits on the sports nature of the bike or its deceleration power. ABS is available on both models at a price of a little more than 1,000 euros.

Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 2009

Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 2009

Honda’s CBR1000RR Fireblade was confirmed as the leader in its sector for 2008, both in terms of sales and performance. It’s lighter, more agile and faster than the competition, and can be adapted to both road and track riding.

For the 2009 version, Honda technicians have pushed for even greater tecnology, introducing some safety elements without compromising the Fireblade’s agression. Electric controlled combined ABS is the latest addition, and has really contributed to the dynamic capabilities of this bike.

While creating C-ABS on a bike with the performance of the Fireblade is an undoubtedly difficult task, Honda has managed this without betraying the sports soul of the bike, and keeping the weight increase relatively restricted.

2009 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K9?

By Alison in: Engineering Suzuki

Suzuki Gsxr 2009 Rendering

Slow down: even if this has been really well done it’s just a design. Our Spanish friends over at Motociclismo.es created it and in the photo mock-up J.M Guerin started with the little sister GSX-R 750, changed the profile, modified the lights and created the side exhaust similar to that of the 600 and 700 but more pronounced.

One thing is sure - after the latest 1098, R1, CBR1000RR Fireblade and ZX-10R (to mention only a few), we’re expecting some response from the Hamamatsu company.
