We had already reported on an Asian EICMA event a while back, and now dates have been released for the 2010 EICMA China motorcycle show. It will take place from June 11 to 13 in Beijing and will include both local and international manufacturers, with some of the big names in European and Japanese motorcycle brands appearing.
China is the biggest consumer and manufacturer of motorcycles in the world, which is not such a surprising statistic; and this EICMA China event should prove to be an interesting show, taking motorcycling from Europe and giving it an Asian stage for a while. We don’t expect any major product news but will be keeping our eyes open for anything new coming out of the show.
This guy on a scooter is riding through the traffic in China with a watermelon on his head. What I want to know is, apart from why, is whether it has the bottom flattened off or is fixed in some way to his head. It brings a whole new meaning to the slang term “melon” for head.
