We’ve already seen dogs on motorcycles, but this 9-year-old mutt that goes by the name of Chibi is pretty special because not only does she like cruising around on her owner’s motorcycle, she also likes to water ski and also has her own Facebook page.
Enjoy the video.
If you have a small dog that you want to take with you on your motorcycle, you could copy what this English pizza delivery man thought up to take his a Coton de Tulear, that goes by the name of Gizmo with him.
Canny Sean Cole of Plymouth, took a luggage box and cut it in half and used perspex panels and built this special dog travelling carrying box. The box is complete with air holes and a fan that keeps the dog cool and according to the local police the doggie box even complies with highway laws.

We thought that Cash was a great dog because he rode shot gun on a sportsbike, but take a look at Opee, a 70-pound Blue Merle Australian shepherd, who takes part in motocross races. This dog is a pro and even has an American Motorcycle Association card and a SCORE International card to prove it.
Opee has already take part in the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix and in another ten races, from California to Florida and even Mexico, including one of the toughest races, the cross country Baja 500.
Mike Schelin, Opee’s owner and race partner says that in the begining he had trouble seeing around Opee, but they worked out shifts and leans and he uses voice commands: “When we come up to a jump, I tell him to set it up and he will drop down and give me more of a view.”
You can see a video of Opee and Mike Schelin in action here and for photos click here.

This cute looking mutt that goes by the name of Cash, is a true motorcycle lover. No hanging his head out of a boring car window for this pooch, who rides up front to get the best thrills out of this Aprilia.
Cash’s biker look is down pat, the only thing missing from our point of view is a decent lid, that is an absolute must on a sportsbike.

I found this pic on Flickr and love the fact that the dog is so out of proportion compared to the bike. If you’ve got any pics of your favourite two wheels and four legged friend, send them through; we’ll have a dog month on Two Wheels Blog (or cats if you prefer felines).
Send your funny, bizarre or surprising pics to us and we’ll post them, with your name. We’d love to share what you guys find in the world of motorcycling! Send to: pics@twowheelsblog.com.
