Moto2 team Technomag-Cip has picked up a new title sponsor and a new livery for the start of their 2011 season, fielding two times Supersport champion Kenan Sofuoglu and Dominque Aegerter.
At a presentation held in Switzerland, the team unveiled the new green (very Kawasaki like) livery on their Suter bikes and main sponsor CarXpert, (car repair shops) which is part of the Technomag group.
Alain Bronec’s team has very high expectations for the upcoming season, Sofuoglu who entered the team for the final two races of the season to replace the late Shoya Tomizawa is a sure podium contender, while Aegerter can easily be in the top 10.

Kenan Sofuoglu, this year’s World Supersport champion is ready for his Moto2 debut this weekend at Estoril with Technomag CIP.
The Turk tested the team’s Suter MMX bike at Albacete last Monday, along with regular team rider Dominique Aegerter and this was the second time that the two times Supersport champion was on a Moto2, after a testing a Kalex chassis bike last November in Valencia.
Sofuoglu will be replacing the late Shoya Tomizawa, and will be using his own lucky racing # 54, but will be riding with a different livery from the team’s usual red and white.

Ducati isn’t the only team that used the mountains as a background to launch their 2010 racing campaign. Moto 2 team Technomag-CIP were in the Swiss Alps with minus 10°C to present their team and unveil the official livery of their Suter MMX bikes that they will be using to contest in this year’s Moto2 Championship.
The team owned by Alain Bronec, will run Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter and Japan’s Shoya Tomizawa and will be present for the Moto2 tests in Barcelona from February 15th to 17th.

Another Moto2 team has confirmed their riders, Shoya Tomizawa and Dominique Aegerter have both signed up to ride with French Technomag-CIP team run by Alain Bronec.
Tomizawa raced this year on a Honda with team CIP –GP 250 team finishing 17th in the final standings, while Aegerter was with Ajo Interwetten in the 125cc series and was 13th. The nineteen year old Swiss rider has decided to move up to the new series because of his height and weight that are judged ‘big’ for the 125 class.
The Technomag CIP team alongside Italtrans STR (Roberto Rolfo and Robertino Pietri), Hayate (Ricky Carduz) and Kiefer Racing will all be using the Suter chassis on their Moto2’s.
