Ducati came up with a special livery for Nicky Hayden for his home races in the U.S. and at Laguna they unveiled a Ducati 848 Nicky Hayden Special Edition. Now that Casey Stoner ready to return to action at Estoril, the guys at Sark Art Design have come up with this one-off livery dedicated to the Aussie rider for his home race at Phillip Island that will take place October 18th.
It would be nice if Borgo Panigale did something this cool for Casey Stoner, who has had such a rough 2009 season.

Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden unveiling the new livery of the Desmosedici GP9 in front of the international press in attendance at the Wrooom - MotoGP Press Ski Meeting 2009. The flaming red bike contrasted perfectly with the snowy backdrop of the Malga Zeledria plane, at the foot of the Dolomites.
Here is some footage of the annual Wroom PR event hosted jointly by Ferrari 1 and Ducati in the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort ,where the Italian teams in red officially presented the new Ducati GP9 and the Ferrari F60 and Nicky Hayden, Ducati’s new rider for 2009.
The Wrooom event has been a regular fixture on the motorsport calendar for 19 years and lasts five days.
Direct from Madonna di Campiglio in Italy, here are the first shots of the new Ducati Desmosedici GP9. The bike has been much awaited, and will be the 2009 machine with which Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden will challenge Valentino Rossi’s title.
