After the MV Agusta F4 world premiere at EICMA, here’s a video of the F4 in flat-out track action. You can skip the secret service-thief-spy bits if you like as, apart from the blonde, the interesting bit is the F4 on the track. I still prefer the Brutale official video with the drawing/design theme, but this is something different as well.
Seeing an old Lambretta always has a certain effect, though this is the modern Lambretta 125N in old-style design produced by the Pato brand. It was seen at the EICMA show this week.
This KTM 125 prototype is at the EICMA show, and while we’ve said it already, it’s part of an impressive stand from KTM, showing off its “Ready to Race” philosophy. The new naked bike is typical KTM design, and is part of the segment of 125 road racers, developed by KTM’s R&D division.
The same team that produced this bike worked on the Duke 690, while the KTM 125 look was conceived by KTM partner, Kiska Design. Apparently it’s pure joy to ride, and we can believe it. It features reduced weight and better handling with a powerful four-valve, liquid cooled engine with 15 hp.
The light tubular frame and new exhaust system round off what is quite a bike to behold. The aim was to combine extreme handling with extraordinary stability, and the suspension system features WP Suspension components. Brembo racing brakes top off the touch of exclusivity. Next to the KTM 125 at the stand is also the Racer version, with new exhaust and a more aggressive design.
Vespa look-alike scooter from LML, the Star, has been presented at the EICMA show, seen in these live pics of the new Star 4T version. The four-stroke scooter is available in both 125 and 250cc versions, and is being marketed as one of the world’s most ecological vehicles, running 60 km on one litre of fuel.
The LML Star 4T also has a new frame structure to make it safer and more comfortable for city riding. The Star scooter cashes in on the very popular retro-look scooter market, and has three versions available in a huge range of colours: Classic, Prestige and Vintage. Check it out in the live gallery below.

Husqvarna at EICMA 2009 has an impressive line-up, at the top of which is expected the new best-seller, the Husqvarna SM630. The urban motard is joined by the enduro, racing and supermotard range, with the latter including the new 450 and 510 models: racing replica for the brand.
The SM630 should follow the fortunes of the SM610, and become a benchmark in the urban motard segment, with modifications that reduce weight and increase performance and handling. The fuel injection is helped by a throttle valve measuring 45 mm, which also reduces fuel consumption.
The dual-purpose TE630 is also a new model for 2010, equipped with a 600cc engine and DOHC which contribute to a 20-percent increase in power compared to the TE610. Smaller models have also been updated, including the SM and WRE 125, and competition models are included, showcasing the CR 400 of Steve McQueen fame. Check out the Husqvarna range at the official site: husqvarna-motorcycles.com
Moto Guzzi’s V12 Concepts at the EICMA show are very lovely-looking machines. In fact, we’re quite surprised given all the mess of factory closures-no closures at Mandello facilities, that the company has managed to turn up to the show with just such beautiful concepts to display.
What’s amazing about Guzzi’s V12 concepts is that they’re very characteristic of Moto Guzzi style, keeping the legendary in-line twin-cylinder engine, but giving it some extra spice with innovation and attractive looks combined to turn heads. The concepts have been designed by Miguel Galluzzi and Pierre Terblanche in an attempt to pay tribute to Italy’s motorcycle brand.
Three concepts have been produced which is enough for us all to pick our favourite: the V12 LM, V12 Strada and V12X. I’m loving the red Le Mans model, although the V12 Strada has its own special appeal, too. After the jump are more pics and the full press release for in-depth details of the three V12 Concepts.
As we promised from the BMW stand at EICMA, here’s a look at the chunky BMW Concept 6, which has an inline six cylinder engine. Despite it being bulky, we’re surprised that it’s not actually wider that what it is, being only slightly larger than a classic four-cylinder.
We had first described it as a spaceship and it does look like something that could appear in a Transformers movie, like a kind of futuristic cafe racer. What’s impressive is the engine performance. The 1.6-litres gives 130 Nm of torque at only 2,000 rpm.
The Moto Morini Granferro 1200 is live at the EICMA, and we’ll be bringing you more details and pics soon. It is what was previously called the Granpasso 1200 SM and is the new twin-cylinder from Morini.
The Moto Morini stand also includes an unusual Corsaro restyling. If you’re curious to know more about what is a great motorcycle brand, stop by the Moto Morini stand to what Morini fans get excited about.
The Triumph Rocket III Roadster is live at the EICMA show, along with other models from the Triumph range. The Speed Triple Special is on display, complete with its extensive range of accessories, including Ohlins suspension, special alloy wheels, PVM disc brakes and callipers, Arrow exhaust and texalium fairing with special colour scheme.
The Bonneville Sixty limited edition is also at the Triumph stand, along with the Bonneville Tag Heuer and Speed Triple SE twin-tone livery. For 2010 the Triumph Thunderbird cruiser will have two new “premium” limited edition colours: Phantom Blue Haze and Phantom Red Haze.

Aprilia live at EICMA has some impressive models to show off, including the RSV4 R, which is the undisputed queen of the stand. It appears along with the new Dorsoduro Factory (more on that later), the new Shiver and the little RS in Biaggi Replica livery. Oh, and of course a few Aprilia girls to keep you happy.
