BMW S1000RR Laser exhaust kit

After the BMW S1000RR special edition carbon fibre with Akrapovic exhaust, here’s another exhaust to help get even more power out of your new BMW superbike. The Laser Works exhaust from the Netherlands is a complete exhaust kit made from aeronautical titanium. Highly resistant, the silencer is the new HotCam II in carbon fibre.

According to Laser, the racing exhaust should produce another 13.1 hp for the S 1000 RR. This is not one for road use, but you can find it in specialist shops at a price of about 2,213 euros.

Dopo il doppio silenziatore di scarico X-Treme per BMW S 1000 RR il produttore olandese Laser propone per la supersportiva bavarese il nuovo impianto di scarico completo Laser Works. For more information, see the Laser Exhaust website.

Akrapovic exhaust for Yamaha V-max

By Alison

Akrapovic Yamaha V-max exhaust

Akrapovic has developed a new titanium exhaust for the Yamaha V-max. The twin exhaust has a conical design and gives the bike both an impressive sound, and a brand new look. The end caps are made from alluminium, and the new muffler unit is designed with a “slip-on” fitting.

While not made for street-use, the exhaust comes with removable dampers. It saves 10 kg of the overall weight of the V-max, and delivers a power increase to 186.26 hp at 9117 rpm. That’s up from 181 hp at 8995 rpm.

To find out where to purchase Akrapovic parts, the site has a handy world wide motorcycle exhaust dealer guide, where you can click on the country and get in touch from there.
