The new Harley Davidson museum has had one of its first celebrity visitors with motorcycle fan and “The Tonight Show” host Jay Leno visiting the facilities. Leno was lucky enough to get himself a tour from curator Jim Fricke and senior director of factory and museum tours, Stacey Schiesl.
The museum is set to open on July 12, so Leno got himself a privileged, pre-inauguration tour. Next time you’re passing through Milwaukee, you might like to stop and visit.

Descendant to one of the founding fathers of the historic Harley-Davidson company and his family, have decided to commemorate the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, with its inauguration on July 12, with a special donation.
Willie G. Davidson, senior Vice President and Harley Davidson Chief Styling Officer, has donated a sculpture created by artist Jeff Decker, which represents a motorcyclist intent on completing an ascent of a mountain on his bike. The reproduction, in real dimensions, gives homage to the world of motorcycling competition and its associated passionate culture.

Harley Davidson will be opening its museum in Milwaukee on Saturday July 12, marking nearly 105 years of history for the famous American motorcycle. A new dimension, called the “Harley Davidson Experience” will be included in the 12,000 square metres of exhibition space.
Tickets for the museum are on sale from May 20 and you can also personalise your own rivet by June 1st. The museum has been two years in construction and is aimed at telling the stories of the people, the passion of the riders, and the culture and history of the Harley Davidson legacy.
