Nolan presented at the Vairano di Vidigulfo circuit their new collection of Fiat Helmets. The three distinct graphic designs are on their N20 Traffic helmet and two of the versions are dedicated to the Fiat Cinquecento, a cult car for generations of Italians.
The Fiat 500 Emoticon is a explicit tribute to the younger generation and inside the package you’ll find several stickers so that the helmet can be personalised with your own favourite emoticon. The Fiat 500 reproduces the front and back of the Cinquecento, while the third version, Fiat Racing, picks up the Fiat logo that’s on Yamaha Fiat MotoGP team.
Like all of Nolan helmets, that are entirely made in Italy, the N20 Traffic Fiat collection has a Lexan EXL polycarbon shell, with a removable and washable liner in an exclusive ice white and grey colour, the inserts are in leather and the convex, aviator style light blue tinted goggle style visor offers UV protection up to 400 nanometres.
After the jump you can check out the video presentation of their 2010 collection with Nolan sponsored riders Jorge Lorenzo, Carlos Checa and Marco Melandri hitting the track.
Casey Stoner was sporting this new helmet design on his Nolan X 802 for his home race at the Australian GP at Phillip Island, not as far out looking as Jorge Lorenzo’s Estoril GP moon landing helmet, Stoner’s lid would make a very nice replica for any race fan.
After his Indy helmet, Jorge Lorenzo will be wearing another one-off helmet for this weekend’s MotoGP at Estoril. This time the Spanish rider has turned his Nolan X-Lite X-802 into an astronaut’s helmet to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing with Neil Armstrong’s famous phrase “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” on it.
