Pitti Uomo Florence - Fashion Helmet 2009 spring/summer

E-bay: Casey Stoner helmet on auction for charity
If you get in quick, this Casey Stoner helmet could be yours. The charity auction Cuore d’Atleta on E-bay has this autographed Stoner memorabilia, Nolan N94, that was used in the last unforgettable season from the Ducati rider.

Momo Design helmets
We’ve been checking out quite a few helmets lately but it’s time to take a look at Momo Design’s 2008 elegant offering. The New Devil is a jet helmet with a completely transparent visor and chin piece that allows for full protection, without compromising on visibility.
The external shell is made from carbon fibre, while the internal lining is anti-allergenic and anti-perspirant. The visor is made from anti-fog poly-carbon and the Momodesign logo is certainly not lacking.
Moschino helmets: stylish jet helmets
Dedicated to who wants to follow fashion but with a touch of irony, the new jet helmets from Moschino are youthful, elegant, comfortable and functional.
Brought about from a collaboration with Max Safety Fashion, Piedmontese company who manufactures helmets, the Moschino Helmets offer comfort and style, with a visor similar to sunglasses, leather finish and anti-perspirant fabric.
Models available are Peace&Love, with a red heart and green peace sign, in black or gold. They sell for around 215 euros, or with the zip in gold or silver, at about 275 euro.

MT Helmets City Seven CS 20 Lady Collection
MT Helmets presents the Lady Collection, from the Demi-Jet City Seven CS 20 range. Made from thermoplastic fibres, the City Seven CS 20 Lady Collection is an elegant and clean demi-jet available in three colours: opaque green, pink and blue. The three sizes are XS, S and M.
With an efficient ventilation system, the City Seven 20 has two front and two rear vents that can be closed in winter when you don’t want cold air on the top of the head. The Lexan GE visor is available in clear or smokey grey, and has an automatic closing system. Nuovo X-Lite X-602
X-lite has released its new X-602 model, an integrated helmet in composite fibres with a competitive price of 289 euros. The X-602 represents a technical evolution, including some new design, from its predecessor the X-601, and represents the benchmark for the entry level segment.
The X-602 has an external shell in three different sizes (XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL), that mean the helmet is available to a wide range of users. The General Electric visor is in Lexan® OQ, and the scratch resistant quality can also be equipped with Nolan’s fog resistant system.

Shark RSI New Replica De Puniet helmet
In a couple of days the brand new Shark RSI New Replica de Puniet helmet should arrive, based on the design of the French rider from Team LCR di Lucio Cecchinello who races with a Honda RC212V in the MotoGP. The RSI is a helmet with exceptional aerodynamic performance, with clean and attractive graphics in black and white.

Gift idea: Borsalino helmet with the fur trim
When you think you’ve seen it all, you have to think again - we had never seen a helmet with a fur trim until now. The idea behind this comes from a Piedmontese brand that produces jet helmets: calling this one Lapin and redefining helmet fashion.
The New Max Safety Fashion so adds this “Borsalino” to its range of prestigious helmets. Other brands linked to this company include Piaggio, Momo Design, Ferrari and Gucci, showing links to the world of fashion and the high quality work and materials used.

Campaign on helmet use
A shocking campaign on the use of helmets when riding has come to our attention. It’s perhaps particularly appropriate over here when you often see teenagers scooting about with no head protection. A timely reminder.

AXO Goblin
For spring 2008 AXO is presenting its new Goblin helmet: equipped with a clear, antiscratch visor, and an additional sliding sun screen in a darker tint, externally manoeuvrable. The visor is available in three tones: smoke, dark and mirror, while the sun screen can be used during the day to filter excess light.
The shell is design in thermoplastic with adjustable front and forehead air vents. The rear and side vents are fixed and the whole includes a quickly-fixed strap.
Soft and comfortable the internal lining is removable and washable, and anti-allergic to guarantee maximum hygiene. The design is unique and available in different colours: grey or black for a sober look, or blue, red, grey, white, black or gold for who wants to make an impression.
