In these two videos we get a close-up look of the Honda combined ABS CBR1000RR and the CBR600RR versions for 2010. We can’t understand much from the captions in Japanese, but we’re happy for more close ups of the top-of-the-range sportsbikes.
The C-ABS contributes significantly to the changed riding feel of the Honda CBR1000RR and CBR600RR, with better deceleration and safer hard braking, especially in wet conditions. See our first post for more details on Honda’s ABS technology.
Lorenzo Baroni from “Special” magazine has sent us some details from Qatar on the new CBR600RR and CBR1000RR 2009 versions from Honda, with the biggest news being the ABS integrated braking system developed for the top sports range bikes.
The Honda debuts ABS on the first series sports bike with some impressive results, such as rapid deceleration. The strong point in this system is the braking capacity in limited conditions such as wet or dirty roads, and breaking when leaning.
The classic problems of steering and rear blocking are avoided, without limits on the sports nature of the bike or its deceleration power. ABS is available on both models at a price of a little more than 1,000 euros.
