After the Red Bull series of 1,000 frames per second starring Casey Stoner, Andrea Dovizioso and Hiroshi Aoyama, the energy drink company has turned its slo-motion cameras towards two time motocross champion James ‘Bubba’ Stewart while he’s training at his home practice track in Haines City, Florida. Stewart also offers up his own little ’secrets’ on dirt riding in the video.
In the opening round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship that took place at Angel Stadium on Saturday night, JS7 finished sixth after crashing as he was headed towards the podium, while Ryan Villipoto took the victory on his Kawasaki.
Not to complain, but it was about time that Yamaha Motor USA’s marketing department come up with another of their fantastic and comical videos with their racing stars.
After a Day at the Office, and The Ben Spies Method, Team Texas in a mancation road trip, they’ve got AMA Supercross champion James Stewart, explaining what he did during his long road to recovery after injuring his wrist at the beginning of the 2010 season and he wasn’t sure he could compete again.
Maybe with this video, some supercross fans will give him a break after that open letter he wrote after the Unadilla races and regarding the Motocross of Nations, that pissed off a lot of people.
Being a World Champion several times over certainly has it’s perks, check out MTV’s Cribs show starring this time Supercross champion James ‘Bubba’ Stewart’s house, but especially his garages that are chock filled with cars and motorcycles (solid gold!) and his Segway.

After last year’s Valentino Rossi decked out in Santa Claus garb, this year we’ve got world champs Ben Spies, Valentino Rossi, and James “Bubba” Stewart from the Yamaha ‘family’ sending us their seasons greetings.
And yes, Rossi holding another cat, just like in the Ben Spies Method video.

You’ve got to admit that Yamaha Motors USA have an excellent PR department, because this video is along the line of Yamaha’s MotoGP A Day in the Office video, but this one is on all the strange rumors surrounding the new 2010 Yamaha YZ450F that will be officially unveiled on September 8th.
Watch this year’s FIM World Supercross Champion James Stewart squash all the rumors, with cameo appearances by Yamaha’s MotoGP riders Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi, Colin Edwards and James Toseland.

In this video we see James “Bubba” Stewart ride a Segway around a motocross track. While the answer to the question “can you ride a Segway around a supercross track?” would be an emphatic “no” from me, James Stewart proves he can. While we were never in any doubt as to his motocross capabilities, we weren’t expecting this.
This is not as heart-in-your-mouth as other supercross moments, and while Stewart says “anybody can do this” his advice to children is not to try this at home. You even get on-board commentary in this video, so check it out.
