Kawasaki presents a whole new range of ‘Special Edition’ versions of its 2012 line up. The models that received this ‘Special Edition’ treatment are the Versys 1000 Grand Tourer, City and Tourer, the VN1700 and VN900 Light Tourer, Ninja ZX-6R Performance, W800 SE, 1400 GTR Grand Tourer, Z1000SX Tourer, Z750R Black Edition and Z1000 Black Edition. At the moment, all we know about this new series is what we can make out of the pictures released by the Japanese manufacturer, but no information about technical details or pricing is currently available.

Kawasaki presents the long-awaited Versys 1000 at the 2011 EICMA, a bike which was spotted around in mule-form just a while ago. The bike uses a 4 cylinder engine and boasts aesthetics derived from Versys 650. Here are the first pictures taken live at the 2011 EICMA.

Italian aftermarket company Powerbronze will be at the 2011 EICMA to present its range of products, and three fully kitted motorcycles choosen among the most popular models in Italy will also be there to be seen.

The three bikes on display at stand n.6 will be a BMW R1200GS, a Kawasaki Versys and a Kawasaki Z750R, that you can see right now as a preview in our large photo gallery. Powerbronze’s range of products features classic plexi windscreens, crash posts, belly pans, multi-colored covers and panels, carbon fiber bits and basically anything you can think of. Here are new pics of the 2010 Kawasaki Versys, with its design and technology updates for next year. The Versys focuses on fun, easy riding with a more comfortable seat for rider and passenger alike and plenty of touring accessories for weekend motorcycling excursions. The Versys has optional ABS for 2010, and the longer travel front fork with rear shock absorber and 17-inch wheels make this an all-road terrain bike that should cope with difficult conditions.

Here’s a look at the new Kawasaki Versys 2010 in action in this video. Like the previous Kawasaki 1400GTR video, you get the full detail halfway through. The new Versys is even sportier in style, with wheels and suspension that allow for riding in all road conditions.

The 649cc twin-cylinder parallel engine has greater power and torque than before, and additional features include optional ABS and a long-travel fork.

The 2010 Kawasaki Versys has a new design and some updated technical innovations that reflect the agility and fun of this sports bike. The 2010 Versys will be equipped with ABS for a smarter and safer ride, and will have a more comfortable seat for two. While not designed to be an offroad model, its long-travel fork and suspension will suit most terrain.

Kawasaki says of its new bike:

These Kawasaki 2010 range presentation videos include a closer look at the new Z1000, Ninja ZX-10R, Versys, KLX 125, 1400 GTR, and more. We’ll be featuring more pics and details of the various models of the 2010 Kawaski range over the next couple of days. We can’t wait to see the range at the EICMA show (a huge round of applause for Kawasaki who is actually coming!) and we’re especially hanging out to see the new super naked. Akashi’s Dual Purpose has an updated look for 2009, with new colours. While the Versys keeps the same technical characteristics as 2008, with its 650cc twin cylinder engine at 64hp, 206 kg and optional ABS, new colours are available.

The Versys is available in 2009 in Metalic Diablo Black, Metalic Moondust Grey and Pearl Wildfire Orange. I’m quite taken with the orange.
