Dani Pedrosa will race this weekend at Laguna seca. Dani Pedrosa has left hospital in Barcelona after a small arthroscopic operation and talked with his doctor about participating in the race this weekend in Laguna Seca: “In agreement with my doctor we have decided that I will fly to the US and I will do my best to ride this weekend.” We won’t know my exact situation until I get on the bike on Friday morning.”
It will not be easy for Dany to race at Laguna Seca. Laguna is a very physical racetrack and it will be tough for his injuries.

In a few day’s time we will find out whether Valentino Rossi will extend his lead in the MotoGP, though it could be a hard task as the 29-year-old has never achieved a victory at Laguna Seca in California.
Rossi is leading with 16 points on Dani Pedrosa, and believes he had a good performance on Sunday. Pedrosa was injured in the last race and it’s still unknown whether he will race on the weekend. He injured his finger and ankle in a crash in heavy rain.
Rossi will want to start in the front row, as will Casey Stoner who will be trying for a fourth win. Stoner is in third position, 20 points behind Rossi. With three wins and four pole positions over the last four races, Stoner has again found his rhythm with the Desmosedici GP8.
