It looks like that Jerez is finally dry enough to do some serious testing and here’s a pic of Damian Cudlin on the Suter-BMW Moto1 on track getting a shakedown.
The picture was taken by Ian Wheeler, Communications Manager for the Marc VDS Racing Team and the bike developed by Suter, will try to take on the prototypes when modified production engines will also be eligible to race in 2012.
Marc VDS Racing team, will probably be the Suter’s Moto1 first client in 2012, as the team is interested in racing in MotoGP in the future Mika Kallio revealed when he signed up with them.

Ian Wheeler is the Communications Manager for the Marc VDS Racing Team that fields Scott Redding and Hector Faubel in Moto2 and took this photo at the International Guiglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna of a very touching and simple tribute to Shoya Tomizawa that was put up by some fans of the Japanese rider.
Scott Redding was the other rider involved in Tomizawa’s tragic crash and he was very lucky to escape serious injury and received ten stitches in a laceration to his back.

Scott Redding has finally gotten a deal to ride in Moto2 this season and it will be with the Marc VDS Racing Team, under the wings of former Kawasaki team manager Michael Bartholemy.
Redding who turned 17 this month, was the youngest winner ever of a 125cc Grand Prix in 2008, had a disappointing 2009 season and was struggling in finding sponsorship money and ride for 2010, but the talented youngster who hails from Gloucestershire has finally got a new opportunity and will ride in the Belgium based team alongside 19 year old Vincent Lonbois, who contested in European Superstock 600 Championship in 2009, taking 3rd in the standings.
Marc VDS Racing will be using the Suter MMX and Redding will debut on the new Moto2 machine in February and has already tried out FTR and Kalex bikes at Almeria last December.

A new team has decided to race in the new Moto2 championship, a squad run by former GP rider Didier de Radigues and former MotoGP Kawasaki team manger Michael Bartholemy and under the banner of Marc VDS Racing Teams.
Michael Bartholemy:
“Moto2’s aim is to replace the 250 category while also reducing costs. Everyone will have the same Honda 600 four stroke engine, while Moto2 bikes’ chassis and swing arm will be completely free to develop. Evidently, this is the area that will provide the difference between the teams.”
“I must admit that the prospect of working with Didier de Radigues within the context provided by Marc VDS Racing Teams is very appealing, as it will allow me to focus entirely on the bike’s development and exploitation. Our team will also field two riders, which we will soon announce. And we may even give a Belgian rider a chance. Let’s wait and see.”
