The launch of of the Ducati Monster 796 has sparked the Italian marque to brink out some interesting promo videos to compliment the Monster 796’s smashing colours by adding them to their Monster Art Colour Therapy project. Not happy with only the Art Colour Therapy, Ducati has added what they’ve dubbed “Logomania” that introduces seven new schemes that also remembers the Ducati logos used in the past 50 years.
Whatever your mood, you can customize not only the new Ducati 796, but also the 696 or 1100 tank panels, micro-bikini fairing, single-seat cover and front mudguard with these kits.

Brad Pitt loves motorycles and his garage already includes a Ducati Desmosedici RR, a Monster 696, a Ducati 1100S and a range of customised Harleys. He has been seen riding almost anything on two wheels.
This is Pitt’s new hot ride, chrome, chrome and more chrome, a single swingarm and it looks like a chrome seat. Hopefully it’s only shiny silver coloured fabric because if he leaves this bike out in the sun, he’s going to cook the family jewels when he straddles this beauty.

A Monster 696 giveaway is being held to benefit the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Rett syndrome is a childhood neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by normal early development followed by loss of purposeful use of the hands, distinctive hand movements, slowed brain and head growth, gait abnormalities, seizures, and mental retardation. It affects females almost exclusively.
Tickets for the raffle (held in California) cost 25 USD and are limited to 500 total. Tickets are available at the Pro Italia online store or in the US, in Los Angeles and are available until October 24th. Pro Italia is an American online store in Southern California.
The motorcycling world often helps out in charity causes, as seen in Shane Byrne’s charity project to raise money for Mcmillan Cancer Support. The British Superbike Champion’s helmet was recently auctioned on ebay. Shane said: “I suffered a big loss in my life because of cancer. I hope that the money raised from the auction of this helmet can go some way, however big or small, towards helping others similarly affected whilst also highlighting the great work carried out by the people at Macmillan Cancer Support.”
It’s great to know that the motorcyclingworld and even riders are continuing these fund raising initiatives for charities in these difficult times.

Again good news for the Ducati factory. After the news about the Monster 696 (the most sold bike in Italy in June) Ducati North Europe is announcing a new sales record. They sold 103 models in August, witch is a new sales record in Belgium for this month.
These spy shots of what seems to be the prototype of the Monster 1100 come from the DucatiMonsterClub site.
The quality of the shots is enough that we can appreciate the novelties introduced: the design has been taken from the Monster 696 model, with rear swing arm and lovely spoked wheels like on the Hypermotard.
For what we can see the bike keeps its dry-clutch, while the instrumentation is digital as per the 690cc. The bike could be presented at EICMA in Milan in November. So with a little patience, we should know more.
