LeoVince SBK exhausts for 2011 Suzuki GSR 750 and KTM 300 EXC

By Alison

LeoVince Suzuki and KTM exhausts

Two new 2011 LeoVince exhaust systems are available for the Suzuki GSR 750 and the KTM 300 EXC models. The LeoVince SBK LV One exhaust for the Suzuki is made entirely from stainless steel, with the silencing body and collector tube in AISI 304 steel. Two different looks are available for the external sleeve - either a “Titanium Look” (thanks to a sand-blasting treatment), or in carbonfibre. The bracket is in carbon fibre and the end cap is made from high resistance Technopolymer.

The LeoVince X3 exhaust is designed for the KTM 300 EXC and is made from stainless steel as well. Carbonfibre brackets are used and the end car is also in carbonfibre to keep the weight of the KTM down. The model has been made with the pending FIM dB(A) sound limits in mind and will conform if the limits are applied.

The SBK LV One costs €289 taxes excluded, for the stainless steel finish, or €382 for the carbonfibre model. The LeoVince X3 exhaust costs €169, taxes not included. See the LeoVince website for more details.

SC-Project new exhausts for Triumph

By Alison

SC-Project has developed a range of new silencers for the 2011 Triumph Speed Triple and the Triumph Tiger. The new silencers come in both “low position” and “high position” versions. The Speed Triple comes available only with the former and it’s particularly adapted to giving the English bikes a sporty and racy look. The silencers have been designed to reduce weight, with the Triumph SC-Project exhausts saving about six kilos in total (weight is down to 2.5 kg for the exhaust set-up).

The bikes also get an improvement in performance with an additional 4 hp gained and better torque distribution. Low position exhausts come with removable DB Killer and are available in carbonfibre, black stainless steel, titanium and stainless steel. The Speed Triple can be fitted with: oval, GP, GP EVO and GP M2 units. Removing the DB Killer makes for a racing model. Selling prices range from €290 to €380.

The Triumph Tiger can be fitted either with the low-position silencers, or with two high position options in oval and GP EVO. The latter isn’t available in titanium. Both models fit the look of the bike, with the high version following the rear tail, or the low version sitting snugly between the rear wheel and engine components. See the SC-Project website for more.
