Luca Ruggeri has come up with another of his devastating comics and the target has to be this weekend’s most talked about rider, Marco Simoncelli.
Simoncelli at Estoril was first accused of being an aggressive and dangerous rider and in France proved that Jorge Torquemada Lorenzo was right. The Italian committed the most heinous of motorcycle racing crimes, the aggressive outside overtaking of a defenseless and now injured Dani Pedrosa.
Since Chewbacca as Simoncelli is now known to Italian fans, didn’t actually recite “mea maxima culpa” after the incident, he has to face his main accusers in the MotoGP Inquisition, and who’s racing numbers coincidently add up to his.

Jorge Lorenzo celebrated his fantastic win at Jerez with a celebratory dip in the circuit’s pond, but Lorenzo did admit later on that he had been thinking for some time about celebrating an important win with swim, but found out that it was possible only at three circuits, Jerez, Valencia and Phillip Island.
The Spanish rider immediately ruled out Phillip Island because the sea is too cold and there are sharks, but Lorenzo’s statement and continuing rivalry with team mate Valentino Rossi didn’t get past comic artist Luca Ruggeri’s magic pen and sharp mind.
May we suggest that Ruggeri could have added Casey Stoner standing on the bank with his fishing rod.

The Yamaha decision to not have Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo exchange data in 2010 has sparked another comic from Luca Ruggeri , who has come up with this idea to help Jorge Lorenzo solve any problems he could have eventually have this year.

We think that Motoblog’s Luca Ruggeri’s comic is self-explanatory. Thirty year old Valentino Rossi is still a force to be reckoned with and a motorcyle legend. Here’s a not so brief history and record breaking career of the nine times World Champion.
1) Has 103 wins to his name, 77 in the premier class.
2) 163 podiums in all grand prix classes.
3) With Saturday’s pole postion at Sepang Rossi equalled Mick Doohan’s pole position record of 58.
4) Has never missed a race start since making his debut in 1996. He has started 226 successive GP races across all classes since; 167 of which have been in the top class.
5) Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini are the only two riders to have won titles on both two stroke and four stroke bikes, and the only rider to have won championship titles on four different types of motorcycles: 500cc two-stroke Honda, 990cc four-stroke Honda, 990cc four-stroke Yamaha and 800cc four-stroke Yamaha.

Luca Ruggeri has come up with another of his special comics and if you check out Motoblog you’ll see no one escapes from his caustic wit and this time Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden really deserve it with the wet tire debacle at Donington.
Here’s a cool comic from Luca Ruggeri on Valentino Rossi’s 100th victory. For more cartoons from the Italian cartoonist, check out the guys at Motoblog.it.

I revisited Matt’s cool KnjMoto motorcycle web comic, which you should take a look at if you haven’t already. He also has an ongoing MotoBasturds comic strip with some quirky humour and a bunch of characters you can get to know.
Matt’s comic strip is really taking off, with little blog comments posted under his comics covering issues that include everything from hybrid motorcycles to girl riders. Check it out.

There’s nothing like a bit of fun to bring us into Friday and the weekend, and so we take a look at KnjMoto’s motorcycle web comic. It’s a really neat web-based comic strip about the world of motorcycling, with six characters and snippets from current issues such as the new tyre rule.
From the author, Matt, the site also has some fantastic galleries, and shots of his original sketches for the webcomic. It’s talented stuff and thanks to knj for sharing his work.
