The guys from Motoblog.it got themselves these live pics of the NCR Millona M16 model from the Bologna Motorshow in Italy. The Millona M16 was originally released back in June but it still holds its place as an exclusively designed, lightweight motorcycle. The whole thing exudes beauty and quality construction, and while the carbonfibre used obviously has its structural purpose, from a design perspective it lends an aggressive and futuristic air to the M16.
Other characteristics of this NCR creation include an exposed clutch setup, hand forged titanium exhaust and the scheletral trellis carbon frame through which we can spy the other components. Despite being a serious-looking sportsbike, the Millona M16 has an overall airy and lightweight style. It’s built off a D16 and it’s not known at this stage what kind of demand or production run there will be. In any case it’s an expensive and exclusive effort from NCR.
It was the talk of the web a few weeks back and finally NCR has unveiled their baby the Millona M16 in all her stunning beauty. It’s engine is based on the Ducati Desmosedici 16RR, but it weighs in at just 145kg (319lbs) and develops 200 plus horsepower at the rear wheel!
The M16 has been conceived as the most exclusive motorcycle in the world using the lightest and strongest materials available. The frame and swingarm, fuel tank, faring, subframe/tail, fender, front faring stay are all in carbon fiber, including the wheels.
The slipper clutch system is NCR’s own, a 6 speed lightened gear box, front and rear discs by Braketech AXIS/CMC in ceramic matrix composites, 2 piston Brembo Racing monoblock caliper, Ohlins FGR000 43 mm front suspensions with adjustable off-set, rear suspensions are progressive linkage with fully adjustable Ohlins TTX monoshock with length adjustment with everything tuned by NCR CORSE.
