From a very hot and muggy Sepang on the most technological bikes in the world, to the heat of Thailand to ride a 150cc Yamaha scooter and back to a cold and rainy Spain, watch Jorge Lorenzo and his friend Ricky (Cardùs?) do a little knee down training in the rain on a makeshift track.
According to Lorenzo it was Ricky who binned it, so why is he wearing Lorenzo’s 2009 Nolan X-Lite X-802 helmet?

Jorge Lorenzo will be sporting a new helmet design on his Nolan X-802 for the season finale at Valencia.
After wearing his fan helmet celebrating his favourite soccer team Barcelona Football Club and the Captain America one at the Indianapolis GP and the Astronaut themed lid, this new design is based on a computer game for XBox 360 called Halo 3 ODST and Lorenzo is the main character from the video game.

After his Indy helmet, Jorge Lorenzo will be wearing another one-off helmet for this weekend’s MotoGP at Estoril. This time the Spanish rider has turned his Nolan X-Lite X-802 into an astronaut’s helmet to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing with Neil Armstrong’s famous phrase “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” on it.
