Prince Harry has now officially become part of the Ducati family, just like his brother William.
The bike-mad prince, who who rode pillion with Randy Mamola on the Ducati Desmosedici twin seater at Donington last year and asked Chris Vermeulen for riding lessons, has bought a Ducati 848 to add to the Triumph that he already owns.
Both Princes, William and Prince Harry are extremely passionate about motorcycles and riding and the pair took part in the Enduro 2008 charity ride in South Africa, riding Honda CRF 230bikes.
Prince William already owns a Ducati 1198S and a Honda Super Blackbird.

Remember Prince Harry showing up at the British MotoGP? Well, it was Rizla Suzuki’s rider Chris Vermeulen who invited Harry to the Donington races after seeing a picture of the Prince wearing a replica of his own racing helmet.
Vermeulen presented the Prince with the original helmet that he wore during the race and another one for William and third helmet for charity. The MotoGP rider got asked if he could give private racing lessons, as the Prince might be trading in his Triumph motorcyle for a Ducati, just like his older brother.
Riding pillion with Randy Mamola must have given Harry the racing bug, who knows if we’ll ever see the Prince in some club race.

Prince Harry showed up at Donington to take in the British Gran Prix races. Usually royalty likes to lay low and avoid the paps like the plague, but in this case young Harry got photographed while riding pillion behind Randy Mamola on Ducati’s MotoX2.
The Prince got treated to a Mamola style wheelie and on the damp track almost got highsided during one of the high speed laps around the English track.
Both Princes are avid bike fans and just a couple of weeks ago the paparazzi caught Prince William riding a Ducati 1198S.
