100,000 plus Brazilian FMX fans (it’s nice to know that soccer isn’t the only sport they follow) showed up at the “Esplanada dos Ministerios“ in the heart of Brasilia to watch Nate Adams defeat Robbie Maddison in the second round of the 2011 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour with some incredible one-handed takeoff backflips, cliff hanger and lazy boy flips.
Third went to Andre Villa and fourth to 19-year-old Levi Sherwood, both not getting past the semi-final.
This is Adams’ fourth career win and the American now leads after the first two rounds with 165 points. The leader coming into Brasilia was Dany Torres, who unfortunately had to pull out at the last minute due to a foot injury and now is fourth overall. The series now heads to Rome, Italy on June 24 at the legendary Stadio Olimpico.

As usual the Red Bull X-Fighters are awesome free stylers, as are the highly spectacular venues they choose to compete in and the 2011 tour kicked off in high style in Dubai with the towers of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj al Arab stand as a back drop.
15,000 amazed fans that included Dubai’s crown prince, watched as 23-year-old Dany Torres of Spain took the first win, going all out with an Indian air flip, a lazy boy flip, a cliff hanger flip, and a supercan flip that were more than enough to hold back Nate Adams and Andre Villa.
“I’m very happy to take the first win of the season here in Dubai,” said an elated Torres. “It feels really good because the level of riding was so high tonight, so it makes this win that much better.”
This was Torres’s fifth victory in the history of the Red Bull X-Fighters since its creation in 2001.
Nineteen year old Levi Sherwood won the penultimate round of the 2010 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour at the Battersea Power Station in London with some very amazing tricks, but the win was judged for all riders on the qualifying practice results as the final was hampered by the very wet and slippery conditions of the course that made it too dangerous for the riders to take it to the limit.
Tour leader Andrè Villa (310 points) had to settle for a disappointing ninth place after having this horrific looking crash during the practice session when he fell into the watching crowds. Fortunately, his bike did not cross the divide, but three people ended up in the hospital with minor injuries according to Villa on his Twitter page.

Spanish rider Dany Torres grabbed the victory at Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour 2009 last Friday night in Madrid in the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas bullfighting arena. Nate Adams took second, while Robbie Maddison was third.
Maddison just four days before the Madrid event, was the first motorcycle rider to ever jump the Tower Bridge in London.
Red Bull does it again and this time it was the freestyle motocross exhibition in front of the Pyramids of Giza. The pyramids played backdrop as Nick de Wit, Chris Birch, Morgan Carlson and Jimmy Verburgh put on a show for over 10,000 screaming Egyptians.
The Red Bull X-Fighters Exibition Tour is an event that travels to the ends of the earth to promote the highly regarded Red Bull X-Fighters series. Rumor has it that this event was held in Egypt to give the locals a taste of what can be expected when Cairo, Egypt becomes a stop on the full-scale Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour.
