In what we can only describe as a singular ranking, Visordown has created a list of the ten most creative helmets around and the gallery below has to be seen to be believed.

The photos aren’t in the order of the ranking, but you can choose your favourite from the skull to the lego to the watermelon. Others featured include Spiderman, Pac-man and a Storm Trooper helmet.

You can actually create your own version of the famous Valentino Rossi my face helmet by going to www.italianlegendaryprotection.com and following the instructions. It all depends on whether you think your face is good enough to get on a helmet!

We’re not quite sure what to make of this but what fan’s around the world get up to is anyone’s guess.

Valentino Rossi’s followers from the group “Valentino Rossi - The Doctor” have been playing in the virtual world, with parties and avatars of the famous motorcyclist.

Even a virtual helmet of the recent My Face Mugello helmet has been created (apparently in record time).
