Instead of awing the crowd in front the Grand Sierra Nevada Casino in Reno with his World Record ramp to ramp 316 foot jump , Ryan Capes took another World Record, but this time it was a dirt to dirt jump with his 2009 Kawasaki.
Capes jumped a massive 290 feet, but making the jump more difficult was trying to get his 500cc two-stroke engine in a KX250F chassis, up to top speed in order to make the jump. Capes didn’t break the 300 foot mark on the dirt as he expected, but he still broke another world record trying.

People walked away slot machines and blackjack tables at the Grand Sierra Nevada Resort and Casino in Reno on September 26th to watch Ryan Capes break the Ramp-to-Ramp World Record Jump.
He first jumped 287 feet, but wasn’t satisfied because he’d promised the Reno crowd a 300 foot jump. After some adjustments to his morphed 2009 special edition Monster Energy Kawasaki KX250F, dubbed the ‘Destroyer,’ he attempted a second jump flying an amazing 316 feet.
