Bringing up the tail end of the new 2010 Honda models released is the Shadow 750 Black Spirit cruiser. The Shadow 750 was originally launched back in 2007 and was based on the VT750 Shadow. The classic American look-alike now has smooth black colours, making it aggressive but cool.
The Shadow 750 is characterised by the lowest seat in its class, and should prove a keen competitor to the Harley Davidson 883 Nightster. It is equipped with a twin-cylinder, 750cc engine at 52-degrees and other features include electronic ignition and IACV valve control. Expect to see a new range of Honda accessories for the Shadow Black Spirit in the future.
The surprising DN-01 has shown a new direction for motorcycling according to Honda, thanks to the revolutionary styling of the “Sport Cruiser” and the advanced automatic transmission (HFT) developed for the first time for bikes.
For 2009 a few updates are on their way. The DN-01 will be equipped with a new compact V2 at 680 cm³, with electronic ignition and liquid cooling. The HFT (Human Friendly Transmission) gives a fluid change that is perfectly matched to this easy-going motorcycle.
The wide and lowered seat are comfortable, and the handles and pedals favour a relaxed riding position. Weight is distributed in such a way as to highlight the stability of the bike, especially at high speeds. Colours available include Sword Silver Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White and Graphite Black.
